"The place was amazing, a true resort with high standards and cleanliness. The location was the only downside as we spent quite a fair bit of time and money travelling to and fro the city centre in cebu. It is definitely a perfect place for a weekend getaway. The beach was under renovation while I was there but the views were great. "

"I was worried that the room will not be ideal as we were with a toddler but my little one loved the big mirrors in the room and it was quite spacious. The best part is having a lot of pools to choose from and the hall ways are wide so we have maintained social distancing. I wish they could have more selection for their ala carte menu. There was no buffet dinner, maybe because it was a weekday with only a few guests but I'll look forward to trying their lunch or dinner buffet when we return. I'll definitely book again soon. "

"Stayed for the last two days of our vacation just to chill and do nothing. Beach front room, very very clean, huge bathroom which is very a bliss after staying in 3 stars hotels for days, shower hot enough unlike other hotels in Cebu WiFi working in most places of the resort. Beach was very nice, big enough. Pool seems a bit small though but we stayed on beach area most of the time. Food of course a bit over-priced but not too bad. Breakfast was quite good with a range of different selections. "

"We travelled with our three boys (7, 5, 3) and stayed for one night and two days only. Our superior room was equipped with a big double and a single bed and still had enough space to feel comfy. The bathroom was very clean and the room had a nice modern design. The hotel has two swimming pools, one with a slide wich our boys absolutely loved. We also enjoyed the kiddie korner, a room with lots of toys and craft material for kids. As our flight was leaving at midnight, we were allowed to check out of our room at 2pm without extra costs. After that we still could use the hotel facilities including the "public" showers. Our favorite was the food (breakfast buffet and a la carte lunch and dinner), it was the best food we had during our travel in the Philippines. It also was the most expensive one, but it was worth every penny. The hotel is located 30 mins from the airport and has a small beach, too, which can only be seen as a nice refreshment during high tide (still shallow water). During low tide there literally is no water at all. But Cebu should not be the place where you stay because of the nice beaches... The hotel offers free shuttle service to the big shopping malls, but we did not use this service. For our needs (spending two relaxing days close to the airport with our kids and enjoying the last days of our holidays) the hotel was just the perfect choice. We will definitely come back!"

"The staff here are superb. We came in very early around 7am hoping to have an early checkin but sadly they are fully booked the night before. Good thing they upgraded us to their grand suite with a sea view and balcony for an additional fee. For a family with 4 kids and a senior citizen, we just cared about getting a good rest from the trip from Cebu city. You can also book your tours with them. Pricey food from the restaurant though. but you can just take a tricycle to town to try the different restos there, or have a takeout and just eat it at the resort. "

"Cebu has 2 major islands - Mactan and the City. If you love beaches then mactan is for you. The City offers the malls (SM and Ayala) and the business districts. Cebu is known for great scuba diving so i'd stay on the mactan side. Love BE Hotel. Its mostly white. rest rooms are very clean and place is well maintained. The place is also accessible to the airport. If you take a cab it will cost you PHP200 or equivalent to less than USD5. From the hotel you can take a multi-cab to go around. The hotel offers buffet breakfast as part of the package and this is really good. I'll definitely stay here on my next trip to Mactan Cebu. "

"For 20 years I have stayed 50+ nights a year in hotels in various parts of the world; mostly Europe and North and South America. I had used 4 or 5 star beach resorts on Mactan Island on 3 prior visits to Cebu. They were good hotels but had no soul. The staff were robotic - by rote answers to questions and, if something unusual was asked, the human equivalent of a computer page being unavailable. So I asked myself what I was looking for from a Cebu hotel. The answer was comfort, safety, a decent swimming pool and good transport links. The Waterfront Airport is what it says it is; a 3 star airport hotel where most customers will stay overnight after arriving or prior to departure from Mactan-Cebu Airport. However it is much more than that. I stayed in a Deluxe suite. This was actually three good sized rooms: a bedroom with double bed, TV and plenty of storage; a bathroom which had a bath with a flexible shower fitting and a separate shower room with a fixed shower; and, a lounge with TV, two seater sofa and 2 chairs, table, TV, mini-bar, two large windows giving views of the city and interior on one side and of the airport on the other, and more storage. Each room had a phone and air conditioning operating down to 18C. It made a quiet background hum causing no disturbance. Rooms are sound-proofed but planes can be seen and just about heard in the lobby area. The swimming pool is 28x12 yards and 3-4 feet deep throughout with a small area which is very shallow and suitable for young children. Complimentary towels are provided and there is a good quality gym adjacent to it. At weekend from 7-11pm a pianist and singer perform in the lobby lounge. Marina Mall is an 8 Peso jeepney ride or ten minute walk away. The hotel, although 3 star, provided terrific value for money, has staff who go out of their way to be helpful and I would recommend it to anyone looking for quality at a competitive price and a good base from which to explore Cebu, city and island."

"The best part of the hotel was the staff who worked there. They were exceptionaly friendly, courteous, and worked hard to overcome the hotel's shortcomings. The view from the deluxe suite was postcard perfect and the suite itself was keep immaculately clean by the friendly courteous staff. Bring your own soap. The pieces they give you are frustratingly small and for a man with big hands like mine, tough to work with as they were constantly slipping through them. The main pool and outdoor lounge are well maintained. Unfortunately, the view was not matched by the beach itself, which was small and retained oil and gas from the many ships harbored there because of a barrier that was not keep cleared of algae. Don't count on swimming in the sea. If you do, were water shoes to avoid sea urchins. Once past the hotel's barrier, the sea became very clear. Locals will come to you to offer a boat ride - negotiate if you are interested. The pool on the roof looked like it had not been working for a long time, so while it was advertised, don't count on it. The restaurant food was good, but overpriced and not competitive with area restaurants, which many are within walking distance. The Maribago Grill, Green Papaya, Jeinin Japanese Restaurant are all within walking distance and recommended. the closest restaurant did not have the same good quality or good portions as the others mentioned but was the closest to EGI. It is located in the public market where cheap and palatable food can also be bought. A favorite spot was Magellan's which has an English Pub type atmosphere, good food reasonably priced and live music on the weekends. It is easily and cheaply ($.25) reached by jeepney, which is a fun experience in itself. A taxi (always insist they put on the meter, regardless of where you go) should run about 110 pesos from the hotel. Points of interest are the Lapu-lapu Shrine, San Pedro Fort, Santa Nono, Megallan's Cross, the Toaois"

"We were supposed to have a vacation in Bantayan but because I am 5 months pregnant we preferred to check hotels in Mactan instead. I found good reviews online for Pacific Cebu Resort, so we decided to book an overnight stay in this hotel. And it did not disappoint. Staff are courteous and polite, resort was clean, amenities are well-maintained, and the view of the beach is relaxing, though i am not sure if it's suitable for swimming. As for me, just staring at the sea while having my drinks is enough. :) We enjoyed our dinner while Momentum Cebu plays a very good music. TGIF, indeed! Foods are quite pricey and buffet breakfast is fair enough. Internet services are reliable, no worries about staying connected. A lot of foreigner guests, Filipinos are out numbered. Consider groups having team buildings during weekends. 'Will definitely refer this place to my friends who will visit Mactan. "
