We had a relaxing, satisfying and fun stay here in The Reef Island Resort! Good thing we found this hotel here in Agoda. Our experience is something we will forever cherished. The hotel is clean, the rooms are fab (we love the coffee in our room twas great selection) the pool is gorgeous, interior is magnificent, the STAFF are all accommodating (greets you with a smile and very attentive). Special mention to LAUREN, thank you for assisiting us through out our stay, during the check in and out, we appreciate your service and how you handle our concern and also to SIR (which unfortunately we did not get his name, he's that big man with so much respect and hospitality with a friendly smile to all the hotel's customers, he even asked his staff to gave us brewed coffee while waiting for our early check in. THANK YOU SIR and to the all the staff who did the daily cleaning of our room, your guys are awesome. Also, one of our favorite is the bfast buffet. We enjoyed our morning coffee and the variety of food selection. The pastries section is our fave but over all food was great and sumptuous. We always have a full and satisfied stomach every after meal. To all the servers, thank you so much, appreciate your attentiveness and maintaining the cleanliness of the THE KITCHEN. Me and my best friend together with our husbands and sons went to The Reef for an overnight stay. The staff were so friendly and greeted us warmly. The place itself is new and very close to the beach. The beachfront is right in front of you and you can feel the sea breeze all day. The rooms are so clean and huge. We stayed in a junior suite and it had a huge king bed, a dining table, two sofa beds, and two work tables and my favorite bath tub. I was able to work comfortably too. I like that they have arcade room where you can play a lot of things like table tennis, basketball, soccer ball table, billiards, and PS5 games. They also have a kids club for the children. I like their gym as the equipment is complete, clean, and working. As for the breakfast buffet, it also has a lot of options but I was looking for a noodles corner which they don't have. You can also swim in the sea as they have sea equipments like crystal kayaks and more. SPIAGGIA is not yet open when we go there and was looking forward to a wine or bar experience but we'll definitely go back and book again in this hotel.

I stayed here twice in April & May 2023 and was consistently impressed with the staff & the property. The staff was very friendly, helpful, accommodating and very courteous. The deluxe room had a great view, was large, clean, modern and very comfortable all around. The buffet breakfast was excellent with good selection of Western and Pilipino dishes. And the table service was excellent—shout out to Ariel and staff for a very attentive service! I was also pleasantly surprised at the quality & selection of drink’s & pastries at the Cafe also punctuated by excellent service. The property has 3 great pools, a small private beach , picnic area & fitness center. For me the only service missing is the food room service but it’s a minor item for what I needed. The location is about 30 min from Mactan airport in a secluded gated area. Getting here was through local neighborhoods and hotel is inconvenient from other restaurants & services so you’re pretty much will be staying on the property unless you want to go out for a long drive. I paid 650 pesos for a Grab ride around noon time from IT park to Reef. I have been to many 5 star Western style resort hotels in US, Europe & Asia and Reef compares well especially if you can book a discounted room for less than $150 USD. Overall, I highly recommend the Reef Island Resort hotel and will return again when I’m in the area. Definitely a good value for the money and excellent staff.

Check in/out procedures, resort room conditions, Bell service, housekeeping, restaurant food (The Kitchen; The Grounds) and wait staff, beach staff and lifeguards were all excellent, quick. The Reef personnel made sure our stay was comfortable and pleasant. This is our 4th stay as a family in your Resort, and we like coming back. I have one major suggestion: a. The stone steps going to the sandy shore are high and steep even for young people. There is no railing to hold on to. Please do something about this. Furthermore, tell your condo resident owners NOT TO rev their jetskis close to the shore where your guests are swimming. The gasoline fumes were very offensive, and these jetski riders were totally uncaring that they were polluting the sea and the air even when the lifeguard was waving them off to go further!! The Reef should have regulations on its condo resident owners how to behave with their jetskis when there are guests, especially children, swimming! Thank you for this beautiful resort.

“Solo Birthday Staycation Experience”
I booked a Deluxe Room through Agoda last week. Upon arriving at the hotel yesterday, I was warmly welcomed by the staff, who greeted me with the usual friendly chitchat like, “Is this your first time here?” and “What places are you planning to visit in Cebu?” I told them that I was there for a staycation—to relax and celebrate my birthday. I also mentioned that it was my first solo vacation to a different city. Upon hearing that, the staff kindly upgraded my room from a Deluxe Room to a Junior Suite with a sea view, free of charge. Throughout my stay, everyone was incredibly kind and helpful. They even surprised me with a birthday card, a cake, and a cheerful birthday song. The hotel also offers great food, which made my stay even more satisfying and enjoyable. My heart is full, and I truly enjoyed every moment of my stay. I’m very thankful. 🌸💕
