Mandaue City hotels & places to stay

I enjoyed my stay at ResiDenz Guesthouse. I feel safe that it is inside a village. I like the extra space to park my car. I like the fact that they respect my privacy and do not freely go inside the room for housekeeping (of course unless requested). One good positive point that was not mentioned here is the availability of hot/cold shower. I cannot live without it. Internet wifi signal is stronger at the common living room. Although, I would have wanted it to be stronger in my room on the 3rd level of the house too. It wasn't a problem for me, though, because ResiDenz Guesthouse is located at the heart of Mandaue where 3G signal is strong. Availability of cable TV is also a positive point for me especially because I am traveling alone. Ayala area is only 20 minutes away. If you need food, Parkmall is only 10 minutes away too. This is a great place to stay. I am definitely recommending this to my friends.

In general, I liked staying in this inn. The staff made me feel at home and extended me the kind of service that one is generally wont (accustomed) to getting in hotels. I finished packing and as a consequence, checked out late but they did not nag me or any thing. As summer is just around the corner, the rooms upon check in can feel hot and stuffy. Ventilation is a bit of an issue as is the sorry state and smell of the cabinet. Aircon is good. Whether on full blast or even on low cool mode, it delivers well. Before a guest checks in, opening the window and spraying an air freshener with an inviting but not overpowering smell would be nice. The summer heat generates a smell akin to what they call in Filipino 'kulob'. The same applies to the cabinet in the room I was in. If this is resolved, I am sure that they can be one of the best value for money inns in Cebu. Location is likewise a problem because AS Fortuna is always congested. On the whole, good value for money and great staff!

This hotel in Mandaue city has intersting front and interieur - a little bit of bourgeois and caribic mix. The rooms are furnitured simple but ok regarding the price. Air condtion was working good and the shower gave hot and cold water. But every night or even in late evening when i came home i had to make noise that someone let me in because the garden door is locked and the guard was sleeping like personal inside and probably inside too. So i had to wait sometimes for minutes to go in. And i had thee feeling employeees and their family are sleeping in the hotels pblic area on sofas etc. On the other hand the staff was nice and helpful caring.

The location is near Mandaue cemetery. No commercial establishments nearby. The hostel seemed to be an old wooden house that has been transformed into a hostel; the floor at the second floor is made on wood, the water supply is so low, it take ages before it completely fill the pale. If you want to stay in an area where you are in the middle of a residential area, this is the right place, but if you want to stay closer to some commercial establishments then look for another hostel.

Copenhagen Main Residences is your home away from home, one of the best places to stay in Mandaue City. If you are looking for a a place to relax while at the same time having the comforts of home, this place with beautiful modern interior design is definitely for you. Probably one of my favorite properties to date. The reception area is on the 2nd floor and this hotel is perfect for business meeting and long-term stay. PROS: Wide corridors, clean rooms and public areas, private and secure parking lot, good location within Mandaue City (a 10-15 minute drive from the airport), comfortably-spaced studio. AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT: • BATHROOM - movement by the sink was always a challenge. Elbow room was tight and the shelf would almost touch your forehead when you bent to wash your face or brush your teeth. • SHOWER - spacious and well-functioning water heater. But only a soap dish was provided. Other toiletries (shampoo, facial wash, etc.) had to be put on the floor. • ACOUSTICS - the wide corridors created extra loud echoes and some occupants down the hall would bang their doors when entering / exiting their rooms. Not a very good experience for light sleepers. • AIR CONDITIONING - the studio I stayed in took a long time to cool (about 2 hours) because the air conditioning unit was way too small for the entire floor area. I suggest you install a unit with a higher horsepower.

No frills hotel Cheap but good breakfast, BAD coffee though.. Toilet was a little cramped, but it was clean and water pressure was ok. Not the best location The service though, was top notched! When we arrived, the guard greeted us and offered to take our luggage. When we got to the reception, the forms were already prepared ahead for us to sign. We presented our IDs and the staff carried our bags and led us to our rooms. It was a 4 star service on a 2 star category hotel. They also conveniently gets us cabs everytime we needed to go out. Good value for money!

We had a beautiful and relaxing 2 week stay in a lovely cool double room in the Lylie Hotel in April 2017. All the staff were friendly and helpful and we had a super breakfast each morning in the Hotel Canteen. The room was clean and had good aircon, with a good shower room and comfortable beds. One of the best features was that the walls of the room we had were solid and soundproofed. We could hear the next door occupants playing the TV quite loud from the corridor, but could not hear anything from inside our room. Very easy to get a taxi from outside the Hotel and the taxi drivers never try to rip you off. Very cheap fares too. The Lylie Hotel also had hot and cold water available day and night - just outside our room from dispensers in the corridor. We will definitely be booking and staying at the Lylie Hotel another time. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in.

This is my second stay at big dreams and I spent a total of 5 days and 4 nights. It is like a home away from home. It is quiet, secured and close to many establishments in Mandaue City. I arrived early (3 hours) and as per policy, an hourly fee is charged for early check in. I made a request via Agoda and this was waived by the owners of Big Dreams. I was allowed to leave my bags in my room before I proceeded to my office. Thank you for granting this request. My room was clean, comfortable and complete. WIFI was good. They had separate access points in different areas to ensure connectivity. I had a parking space that was secured within the premises. It was near Gaisano mall, retaurants, sinugba carinderias, bakeshop, mercury drug (10 meters away) etc with easy access to public transport. I have already referred my office mates to stay at this establishment and will continue to do so. Looking forward to writing a review for my third stay. Keep up the good work. Regards, ed santos

Pros: -Location was great. It was just one bus away from Savemore. - A/C was strong. - Water was strong. And hot (i like) Cons: - Room doesn't have bidet. We had to ask the front desk for a tabo and balde. - Not safe for solo travellers. Doesn't have an additional lock inside the room so anyone who has copies of your key card can easily enter your room. - Security deposit is okay for most hotels however with this one? No. It doesn't even have telephones to access the front desk. We had to go outside everytims we would ask something. Would I go here again? No. We just have no other choice but to book here since it was the only available hotel. (bc of Sinulog)

Positive points: Strategically located 20mins away from mactan airport especially when we arrived at 1am with our 3 young kids. It costs us Php141 but we gave the driver a tip (not compulsory) extra for his morning coffee :) Hotel staffs were generally friendly and warm, typical Filipino hospitality and the hotel security was very helpful for helping us with our carry-on luggages---keep it up. Breakfast foods were tasty especially the fish and chips and corn soup. Leope hotel has a small front parking lot for taxi so it was very easy. We love the location at Mandaue city coz it's in between of Mactan and cebu so we would not be so worried about traffic heading off to Cebu and back to the airport. We stayed at the Family Suite room. room was bis and spacious. With fridge inside and LCD telly so kids were enjoying watching Disney channels. Pillows, blankets, towels were served white and clean. toiletries were provided though we brought our own. Water heater was good, we all enjoyed our morning and evening showers. So far so good. CONS: NO WIFI inside the room. for tourists like us we can't contact our family thru messenger unless you have to go down at the lobby or at their cafe. Family Suite room was our room and when we opened our room, arggh, we found mosquitoe--naahhh not a thing for my young kids. Since the room is spacious, kids were enjoying running not until when i realized that our feet turned black...OH My, IT WAS SOOOOO DUSTY and our room was UNCLEANED!!! In the morning, when we about to say hello to morning sun, instead we were greeted with so much dusts and webs...this view wasnt appealing to the eyeview. These were two things need improvement: Cleanliness and Wifi. for Leope Hotel, overall, it is recommmended to pit stop for a night or two. Will surely come back only if the rooms are dust and mosquitoes free.

the andy hotel is new and the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. the layout of the room was not the most practical, but more than adequate. the staff was very friendly and helpful with every request i made. the location is pretty good close to malls and shops and right off the main road in mandaue city, but still resonably quiet. i will stay here again when in mandaue city.

this is my 2nd stay at this hotel. it is conveniently located if you have business to attend to in mandaue. Room size and facilities were decent,they just need to improve their hot and cold shower systems, its not that responsive. Breakfast was good, wifi was decent as well. Overall, among the hotels in the area, orchard provides the best value for your money, providing well kept rooms and excellent service.

I'd recommend this place for its location, it is very accessible and near key areas of AS Fortuna and Mandaue City. The room was simple but well maintained. It had all the basic features I needed to be comfortable like big space, functional air-conditioning and hot and cold shower with good water pressure. There was also a mini fridge. The staff were also accommodating and very helpful.

The room quality, staff freindliness etc at this apartelle is excellent. It attracts mostly medium stay clients. For the price you get a fairly big suite room witha small pool.. The same price will get youa smaller, relatively old and probably without pool in central Cebu. Location is about 300m down a small side rod besides the main Mandaue Foam showroom. Not easy for taxis or viistors to find. The nearest shops and services are at AS Fortuna about 1km away. There are a few convenience stores about 500m away

Very helpful. Very clean. Very handy ( to Mandaue and Mactan Airport ). All very Japanese !! Even to the kitchen staff all getting together at 9am to yell their thanks to you in unison. Just far, far too cute for words. Great facilities. Even a Water Park with pool and slides and such next door. Even a shoe cleaning machine and a Bar in the lobby area on the 6th floor. Very helpful staff and hotel policies. They'll look after your luggage for a few hours or days if needed. Well worth the 500 peso Membership Card, which allows late and early check out/in and discounts on room rates. And the card works as a room key card. Very happy at the Toyoko.

checked in early am, was able to get my room, charged half day rate additional, which was fair. room was very clean, brand new hotel, free wifi, free full buffet breakfast. location was convenient, in mandaue, between airport and downtown cebu city center. was able to walk from hotel to fast food restaurants like jollibee, chow king. courteous staff, would stay again.

The hotel is in Mandaue City, about 15 minutes away from the airport and 20 minutes away from the IT Park. There are numerous transport options in and around the area since the hotel is located along a major thoroughfare. The facilities are very much basic but are new and sparkling clean. Rooms are small but have ample space to move and to store luggage. Bathrooms are equipped with hot and cold shower, towels and basic toiletries. No in-room safe and refrigerator though. Super friendly staff. I didn't have cash at the time of check-in so they allowed me to provide the key deposit the following day. Also, when I felt sick and needed hot water for some cup noodles, the front-desk personnel was quick to respond.

Alpa City Suites is located in Mandaue city in Cebu, although the hotel itself is good and clean, the area which it is situated is in a busy thoroughfare. The reception staff are really nice, they went out of their way to help my husband when he needed to scan some documents. The security guard is very helpful as well as the people at the restaurant. Breakfast is good, variety of foods to choose from. All in all, it's a nice little hotel but price wise, it's not value for money.

We were problem-free with our stay here. The place was clean and really spacious. The wifi connection is also good. The person booking should not confuse themselves though because the building for the Big Hotel and the Big Hotel Suites are two different things. I initially went to Big Hotel and it was there when they checked my booking through Agoda that the one I booked was for the Big Hotel Suites. Nevertheless, everything went smooth.

I booked this hotel again, this time with my wife. We got the same room, and my first impressions were the same. The room was clean and well-maintained, but the stairs going up to loft was narrow and steep. This time around, since I had to share the room with my wife, I discovered that the bed was pretty small for two people. I ended up having to sleep on the couch downstairs.

Very close to the hotel, a bit further from the city centre if you want to explore more local restaurants. Free shuttle 2x a day to SM Mall - more of a chain restaurants there and clothes shops. Staff were amazing, very polite and always do their best to help and accommodate. Pool on 21st floor is amazing, however on windy day, make sure you wont get blown away together with your chair 😂 as it gets really windy. Breakfast is neverending, something for everyone, brilliant selection! Dinner the same- make sure you book a table as it gets booked up by a very big groups. However food is being replaced quickly and tasts amazing. Bed really comfortable and bathroom big enough for 2. Water is warm, but not hot at all. daily bottles of water make it easy to go by. Would recommend and stay again :)

It is a new hotel located in Mandaue City. They have an attentive staff. The bedroom & bathroom (in their deluxe room) are spacious & clean. Even w/ an extra bed for a 3rd person, there is still enough room to move around. The wifi signal in the room & lobby is good. They offer a good selection of food in their breakfast buffet. If you need to check out very early in the morning, they offer to prepare your breakfast ahead of time so you can take it with you. The only downside is that you have to endure Cebu traffic in order to get to Cebu City center & other tourist attractions. That said, I would still consider staying at this hotel when I go back to Cebu. Especially since they are offering good discounts until the end of 2017.
