Found a home away from home in Cebu City”
Decided to celebrate my birthday trip with my parents in Cebu. I initially contacted the hotel via email as I wasn't getting a response with the Agoda message feature to the hotel. I was able to finalize the trip after reaching out to the hotel through email and text. The hotel is near the highway, and it has a lot of nearby restaurants, cafes, especially the I.T park area which is a plus. Traveling with my senior parents, I really searched for a hotel with a good ratings with how they accomodate and treat their guests, and I was right. Main Hotel and Suites have the nicest staff, period. My parents were saying all praises from every staff in the hotel. Though there aren't a gym, or a swimming pool, theur cafe serves such good food! My favorite is the sisig and pastas - so delish!!! I booked a triple bed roomfor 6 days and 5 nights, and it was amazing. The housekeeping always keep our room clean, makes sure to leave new toiletries and towels, and leave us bottles of water every single day :) Make sure to request for the mini refrigerator and electric kettle should you need one since it's a per request basis. We needed one since my dad is a diabetic so we need it for his insulin injection. The place might seem old, but it's really clean, I swear. The WiFi's strong enough to even have connection everywhere you go within the hotel premises. I just wish they'll do something with the water droplets on the aircon box as my dad have insomnia, and since the ACs are aligned all throughout the floors, it's inevitable, but I hope they'll be able to do something about it specially for hearing sensitive guests. I'd definitely stay here again once my friends and I decided to go to the Southern part of Cebu next time. Booking this hotel for a longer period is worth it ❤️❤️❤️

Main Hotel & Suites is a pretty decent place to stay for its affordability. The staff are incredibly friendly, too. While we booked a basic room for two, the toiletries were a bit lacking in that there was no toothpaste and toothbrush included. Aside from that, the doors and some surfaces need a new paint job, and the heating unit was busted in our room. Also, the bed had a tendency to move out of place. However, that was of little inconvenience, and everything else was functional and provided. The food buffet was a highlight of our stay; the food was varied and delicious. We are thankful to the cleaners who provide fresh towels and fix our bed every day. Overall, a very decent place to stay. Not the best, but good enough for those looking to spend more time out in the city than stay inside their room.

The hotel is 15-20minutes away to magellan's cross, south bus terminal, and etc that's near to cebu city's very center. 30 minutes away from mactan airport. Near highway so you can ride a jeepney to colon or wait for taxi (but staffs can call taxi for you). Delicious breakfast meal and the choices are what a traditional Filipino breakfast consist of (also there's bread toaster and drinks). We got triple sharing room and the beds are three single beds, I like how our window meet the sunrise in the morning (I have a timelapse video about the sun rising hehe). The door lock is the usual doorknob that makes it remarks that it's old. We had an issue with the TV cable that it kept saying connecting or something so we were not able to use the TV, but it's okay and we didn't approach to the staffs about the matter. They responded right away to telephone calls and we had nice drinks ordered during our 2nd night. I also like that when we came back from trip that our room got made up. I was worried at first that there was no hanging tag for "please make-up the room". Instead, we just leave the key to the frontdesk before we went to our trip. Overall, we liked our stay in the Main Hotel and Suites. Thank you to the staffs and for the accomodation.

I came here with my bestfriend from our bantayan trip a day before our flight. They have basic needs but some of their furniture needs upgrading. They still use key doors and no heater. They asked me to fill out a form to get my details such as emergency contact number which i think is very useful info incase something happens but they asked me for a P1000 deposit which wasn't declared on the fine print of their page. It is definitely refundable but this should have been presented so travelers are aware to bring extra cash upon arrival. Hotel is few meters away from Sugba Mercado which is very convenient. They also helped in getting a cab for us to the airport the next day. Overall it was a pleasant experience.
