“Room Issue”
My concern is that the air conditioner (AC) in our room wasn’t working properly. We initially thought we would be staying on the 2nd floor during check-in, because the front desk told us their AC there was under maintenance due to ice buildup, so they assigned us to the 1st floor—which turned out to be our designated room. But the AC there wasn’t working well either—it was weak, which probably explains why there was an electric fan in the room. The housekeeping said, it was hot outside and there was a guest who stayed before us, so the AC would supposedly get stronger after a few hours. I just agreed since we were also busy attending an event. Then around 8–9 PM, the AC was still not working properly, so I asked the front desk what could be done since it was already on full power but still not cooling. First, they checked the room and confirmed that the AC was indeed weak. They offered us a garden room since they were fully booked, but even though they gave us a heads-up, the room they offered was very small. We still checked it to see if we could manage. The AC there was working well, but the room was too small and the restroom light wasn’t working, so we decided not to transfer and just stayed in our original room—it was manageable. Then, the water in the restroom had no water coming from the shower. I’m not sure if the water line to the shower was broken, because the bidet also had low water pressure. That’s all for my room-related complaints. Also, the beach was not clean—there was floating human waste, and many guests were complaining, but no action was taken. But overall, I was satisfied especially with their kind staff—they were accommodating, friendly, and knew what they were doing. Thumbs up to the staff. My advice is that they should check and maintain the rooms before accepting guests so that the guests’ stay is worth what they paid. I liked the place and their staff, but not the room we stayed in. Hopefully, they can maintain the other rooms with non-working AC and avoid accepting guests if the rooms still have issues like AC, water, and so on.
