The resort is quite far away from Cebu City but once here, all the stress from travelling is wiped away. We rented a car in Cebu City and drove a little less than 4 hours despite rush hour until we arrived at Kandaya. Public transport and transfer is also available. Kandaya boasts with a huge range of activities, such as jet skiing, ATV driving, archery, etc., which we could not all take advantage of during our 3 night stay. The food is good (especially the Kandaya Burger) and the prices at the restaurant and bar are reasonable. The staff is extremely nice, polite and accommodating. Upon request the staff organised a private dinner for us by the beach and also helped in any other request or question we had. The rooms are very spacious and clean. As we regularly travel to a nearby island, we will definitely come back again for a quick break from the outside world!!!

Brought my family for an overnight stay at Kandaya Resort. We loved the Adelfa Family Villa. It was perfect for the six of us. Note: we brought with is two (2) senior citizens and their positive input was that the place was clean, rooms were kept well. Hot water was readily available at both bathrooms and the provided shampoos, body soap, hair conditioner were so sweet smelling, just like in a proper 5 star hotel. The staff were readily available to help and staff were courteous. They always kept a smile on their faces and greeted to everytime they see you. WiFi connection in the room is fast, though the next morning it was sort of really slow or lagging but as soon as we reported it to room service, their I.T. guys were able to restore it to super fast WiFi connection. All aircon units in the villa were clean and cold. The pillows used were top notch 👌 comfortable on the head and sheets were ultra clean. The villa even also had its own clothes rack outside wherein we could dry our wet bathing suits, and bathing trunks. Services like golf cart transport was always readily available. Breakfast food was served on time and the food was excellent (buffet type) facilities love waterworks was readily available and the staff for water sports were always readily available to help you at your request. The gaming room were equipped with a billiards table, a ping-pong table, air hockey, football table, arcade games, basketball shooting game,etc. There was also basketball court and a tennis court that we saw but the weather was wet. Overall, my family and I enjoyed our stay in Kandaya Resort and we do plan to go back really soon.

Booked the Family Villa, group of 8 adults. The villa was very comfortable with complete toiletries, each one of us even had a bathrobe, with slippers. There is a kitchenette available but no cooking appliances nor utensils, not even a microwave. Good thing the resort restaurant has delicious food which is not too expensive. Swam mostly in the pool since the beach during our visit wasn't too comfortable to swim in due to bad weather. Kandaya is one of our fave resorts (mine and my husband's) and we definitely will come back.

Kandaya hotel, we cant really thank you enough!!! We really appreciate all of you and staff. They are your gem, so please take care of them. Very accommodating, excellent service, truly outstanding. We went here to celebrate my daughter’s 1st bday. We opted to take a family vacation instead of having a birthday party. Everything was very smooth. From the pick up service, Kuya Arnel was very accommodating. Since our to Cebu was very early, we requested for a few minutes before we travel to the hotel to get some coffee and quick breakfast. He was very nice. Upon arrival at the resort, we came way too early for check in, but they gave us a complimentary treat to check in at 12pm (but they went to us and said room was ready at 11am). When we finally saw our beach villa, I knew that it is going to be great, but I didnt expect that they will exceed our expectations. They even let us borrow a baby crib complete with pillows, bed sheets and bolsters. The room was a very cozy, (was very surprised to see the bathroom too) well thought room layout, amenities and i love the shampoo and conditioner here! So bango!!! Food is good too. At first, I was hesitant due to the past reviews I saw here that their food is nah. But, its actually okay. Service is within expected time, the staffs are very attentive. They are very accommodating to our requests. (Extra laundry bag, extra basahan. Extra coffee in our room, i borrowed their ballon inflater, i borrowed scotch tape, extra water refill, etc.) we had to ask for a buggy cart every time we go to the restaurant and we never had to wait so long. The kuya drivers are very helpful and mabait esp Kuya Eric. We were able to do a lot of activities. My 1st born son enjoyed a lot of activities too. He went to the basketball court, game room, played arcade, went ATV, kayak, paddle boarding and jetski. Because he was very excited, he fell off the jetski. (No issue; no pain) Kuya lifeguard was very fast to respond and they gave us extra minutes too! Above all these, Here is the biggest reason why we rated them as an outstanding hotel. We had an emergency. My 1yr old baby girl fell off their high chair during breakfast with her head bumping the floor first. 😫 (And it was high compared to the normal ones) They immediately gave us ice to put into my baby’s head. Unfortunately, their resident nurse was out on leave but they still provided some first aid cold packs. They immediately arranged their van to help us go to the nearest district hospital. They immediately contacted the reception and their office and we were even accompanied by their HR Supervisor (mam, sorry I forgot your name) to the hospital. On our way, she was constantly communicating with their nurse to ask for emergency questions. They are even willing to drive us to Cebu City so that we can get CT scan if the doctor will prescribe. But since our flight back to Manila is in the afternoon within the same day, we just said that we will have it done in Manila. The doctors gave pain reliever and instructed us on the watch outs for my baby’s condition., Luckily, my baby girl was okay and probably saved by a guardian angel. The hotel knew we werent able to eat breakfast due to the accident, so we were surprised when they bought us a petite cake for my baby, and fruit platter for the fam. They even allowed us to do late check out for free, and arranged our pick up service time as well. Before check out, the HR supervisor personally went to our room to get updates on my baby’s condition. They are so worried and we really appreciated their gesture. The fact that they had to be considerate and check on us even they know that we are already leaving, says a lot about quality customer service. Thank you so much again, Kandaya! We will be back.
