"new hotel, clean & comfy but the room is small for queen size bed, location happening area. very friendly staff counter. I asked the room opposite the CIMB bank to watch the busking band, my request was fulfilled. next time, of course I'll book this hotel again, thank you 💕. in the middle of the night my room was knocked 3 times around 1am and 3am and I didn't dare open the door because I was alone. after the 3rd time my door was knocked, I called the counter to ask if the hotel staff was knocking and I was informed that they were not, possibly other guests who had mistaken the door. for safety, the counter tells me if that happen once again, they tell me to call back, they will check quickly who did that. they receive my call as a complaint and will check who did it. the door lock quality is excellent, there is no key to the door safety key from the inside .. if there is a door lock chain inside or a small round glass window, I would like to see who was that 😂"

"I stayed in one of the single rooms in this hotel during my 5-day stay in Kuala Lumpur last week. It is exactly as shown in the pictures. The lobby, dining hall, hallways, and room were clean and elegant. The bed was comfortable, airconditioning was great, and the bathroom spacious, stocked with needed supplies (shower cap, comb, soap, shampoo, lotion, toothbrush, towels), and equipped with a good shower and toilet. There's a safe inside the closet, and an extra pillow as well if needed. One thing to consider when booking the Standard Single Room is the space for luggage. For me, it was no problem as I only have a small luggage bag and a backpack, but for others who might have a lot more bags with them, booking a bigger room type might be something to consider. The staff present were all nice and helpful, communicated well, and assisted me in both check-in and a late-night check-out. Room service and clean-up was on point. If you have any questions or some requests and concerns, it is really recommended that you talk to the staff since they'll do what they can to help you out, which they did in my case. WiFi was fast. Breakfast was simple but good (there were cereals, coffee, tea, porridge, egg, various pastries and bread when I was there.) As for location, it was perfect. It is a walkable distance to two stations (Imbi and Bukit Bintang), as well as several malls (Berjaya Times Square, Lot 10, Sungei Wang Plaza, and about 10 minutes walk to get to Pavilion.). There is a lot of places to eat at. Just in that vicinity and not even at the mall areas yet, there are cafes, buffet restaurants, and hawker stalls. Across from the hotel is a 7-11 convenience store as well. I had no problem walking from the malls and back to the hotel in the evenings (around 10pm to 11pm) since there is almost always people walking around, well-lit, and had quite a busy road. It's also easy to get to via Uber / Grab and we had no trouble locating the area. From KL Sentral (if you're not "

"I stayed at the travelogue in September 2017 & it was a nightmare. Next door there is a renovation of a building (turning it into a McDs). The work mainly goes on over night and so its impossible to sleep. All night its banging, hammering, drilling & sawing. Really inconsiderate of the buildings owners who do not care one bit about the guest house next door or their paying customers. Of course the reception was full of complaining guests regarding their lack of sleep & the issue of the next door renovation. I complained the next day to both Agoda & the travelogue management. All agreed this was unacceptable & i was given full refund of the booking and i moved out the next day. I have to say though if it was not for this issue the Travelogue would have been great budget option for KL. Great location in Bukit Bintang/ Jalan alor. Very clean/ nice facilities. Staff are friendly & helpful Value for money Well done to Agoda & the Travelogue management for total understanding on the situation & their prompt refund. Hopefully the renovation will not last more than a few weeks & will not hurt their business to much - beware of the above before booking. "
