"I booked 2 rooms overnight for my family prior to my sister and niece's departure to Japan. My sister told me they waited for quite a while for their rooms to be available because there are no vacant yet, but, they never worried at all, in fact, their bed was upgraded to Queen (applause to that!!!). I was hesitant to book at first because I was thinking that the hotel has no lift and my brother cannot take steps on the hotel's stairs due his ailments, but, thankfully, their staffs were so helpful. They even provided wheelchair for my brother and lifted it all throughout the room where they were booked, same as during their checked-out. I booked this hotel because I know since before that this is the only hotel that has a perfect scenery, wide area where everybody can roam around outside along the beach even only from the veranda of their rooms, accommodating staffs and very tidy rooms. Cheers and more power!!!"

"The stay could have been ideal for a simple overnight stay other than the incident when another guest (a couple) walked into my room. The front desk staff assigned my room to another guest upon check in. Luckily i was inside when it happened. This made me wonder what kind of booking system supports their operations where an occupied room could still be assigned to a different guest."

"Great staff, food, location, and amenities. I mistaken booked the wrong date for arrival and the manager honored my reservation. The people were all so friendly, perhaps a trait of the Filipinos, but still a warm and generous welcoming. The city is very clean, compared to cities of the same size. The food was delicious from the street vendors the to the 5(?) star accommodations at the Grand Regal. There is a shopping mall close enough to walk if you are up to it, but if not the taxi fair or Jeeps or very inexpensive way to travel."

"i love this hotel. the first thing you see is the lobby where some modern coconut themed pictures adorn the wall. what could be more welcoming. the staff is nice and very accommodating. inside the hotel bold tile is laid and the decoration is modern and enticing. the outside cafe tables overlook a quiet garden where events are held at night sometimes. the cafe has scrumptious food, prepared with a creative touch. i had a mint /dalandan(citrus) drink and my fiancee has a fresh sqeezed passion fruit drink. for breakfast(included) i had the indian curry with roti and my fiancee ate the beef tapa. both lingered languidly on our tastebuds. the rooms were immaculate, comfy and well appointed. the shower was huge and sprayed at good pressure; this is a rarity for the philippines. the only drawback was the absence of an elevator. i suspect that those who need to be on the first floor can call ahead and the staff ehre will do their best to accommodate you. i did not mond the stairs because of all the good food. the location is handy to the airport or to the santa ana pier. i really think this hotel should be rated 4-4.5 stars. it is a hidden gem. "I was travelling alone for the first time in this city, arrived at 11 something PM and I did not book anywhere ahead of time because 1. It was a very spontaneous trip that I booked a same day flight, 2. I WAS ONLY GOING TO STAY FOR 1 NIGHT because i was going to meet my relatives the following day and will be staying at the farm house in another place. To make a long story short, I booked this hotel at past midnight took a cab going there. There was a problem with my booking since I was supposed to be checking in at 2pm by hotel policy and it was only 1am, the staff was kind enough to consider it without any additional charges since it was already paid thru my credit card. Over all as a female solo traveller it was very safe and the neigjborhood was peaceful, the staff were excellent to accomodate me for a very early booking haha, the room was clean although I was placed on a quite old room. The location honestly I cant tell if it was near or far from anything since I was fetched early in the morning. "

"Note: There is no elevator so ask before booking if you can not use stairs. If you need the front desk it only available until 10PM. No ATM so probably the SM Mall is best option. * Small room but clean with good design. Desk is good height for laptop use. Bed is good with 2 nice pillows. Good bathroom but a large person may have trouble with the swing door in the comfort room. There are some sharp angles in the tile walls at about 5’ height so watch your head & arms when in that area. I think the clothes hanging area is not good for long dresses. The room could use some clothes hooks at front door & on central pillar. TV is mounted on a swivel in wall, so that helps, but is is too high to enjoy from bed. • Stairs are easy angle & wide. Nice deck area outside room. Too hot during day, but great for AM or PM use. • Pool is small but area was nice. One side has umbrella & chairs to smoke in. Access is somewhat limited. You have to walk on small pool walkway. The other side has nowhere to sit, except down on the grass. • The only problem I had was the 4 roosters across the street. Their daily calls start around 5AM & continue through out the day. That being said, if I need to stay in this area of Davao again, I would stay at Be-ing Suites Davao"
