The hotel is shown as four star hotel in Agoda, more like a Three Star plus instead of a proper four star hotel. Positive aspects : 1. The rooms, lobby, hallway, etc looks new and smells new. The room itself is fantastic, brand new and very clean. They have a very smart bathroom will all glass door, and choice between normal shower and rain-shower for bathing. 2. The staff is very helpful and always put a smile on their face. 3. The lobby and the waiting area looks very luxurious. 4. Great location, just a stroll to nearest MRT. Food is available 24 hours with Burger King, McDonalds, and KFC just around the corner. 5. Located just opposite HSBC tower. 6. Just a short walk to Central Market, Dataran Merdeka, and you can even walk to Petaling Street. the downside : 1. Room is comparably smaller for a four star hotel standard. Conclusion : Still a very nice and pleasant experience staying in this hotel. Clearly the upside is more than the downside of this hotel.

This was my third time staying at Ancasa, and i will be staying again and again, every time i visit KL. Although the rooms are getting older and are starting to look a little bit outdated, the rooms are so comfortable and very very clean. The bed is so comfortable, sometimes it is hard to get up, and you could find yourself laying there all day ... but DON'T! There is so much to see and do! The staff are friendly and will help as quickly and as much as they can, and always with a smile on their faces. Hotel is a short walk from Petaling market and Central market where you can get some good buys and souvenirs. There is free parking at the hotel, though it is much easier to catch a taxi as the roads are very busy, plus there are always taxi's right out front the hotel. Also has free, reasonably fast wifi. All in all a comfortable stay, and I will be back again.

Value for money - at the price, it is value for money. Aside from the location, they provide vanity kits and toiletries. There’s also hair dryer and kettle for hot water. Location - just 3mins walk to Masjid Jamek train station which easily connects to KL Sentral station and KLCC Petronas Tower. There is also nearby Mcdonalds, KFC and Burger King for fastfood, and also a convenience store beside the hotel. Also, 10mins walk to Central Market for souvenirs and 12mins walk to Chinatown(Petaling street) for cheaper souvenirs and food. Cleanliness - clean and neat. Beddings and pillows are comfortable. Staff - reception can speak fluent english and mandarin. very friendly and approachable. I even borrowed usb cord from the reception. Facilities - wifi is SUPER FAST. There’s an elevator for guest. Free use of computer at the reception if needed. We’ll surely comeback to this hotel when in Kuala Lumpur instead of trying other hotels.

Back for another brief stay, Citin Masjid Jamek Hotel has everything nearby. Not too far to China Town or the Central Market Complex. Go the other way and SOGO and the other shopping centres are close as well. Need to travel further the train is just 50 metres away – you can’t hear them though. The call to prayers is audible in the hotel though from the mosque next door which is quite historic as it is the oldest mosque in Kuala Lumpur. Strangely enough it becomes less of an issue after you get used to it. There is an ample breakfast on offer that varies daily. The only issue while we were there was the shortage of cleaning staff which means they may get to you room late. Don’t blame the staff as they are doing their best – management needs to rectify this as soon as possible. All the Indian Restaurants around this area offer good local fare and the naans are great from all the restaurants that sell them. For good local shopping continue down the road after exiting the markets and there are two Mydins and a Hannifa complex will offer the best bargains around. We will continue to choose this hotel when in Kuala Lumpur as it suits our needs!

There are a lot of things I love about Big M Hotel. Before I booked my hotel in KL, I was checking online the reviews. And I did the right choice in staying here. IDEAL LOCATION It has the best location. The train station is just a few meters away. Just at the back of the hotel. So, it’s easier to go to the different places in KL. There are fast food chains in the area. McDo just next door (same bldg). KFC & Burger King are just across. There is also Guardian next to McDo, 7 Eleven & local convenience store across. Central Market, Chinatown, KL City Gallery, temples, Catholic Church, Mosque are just walking distance. Oh! Even KL Tower is just about 30-min walk. ACCOMMODATING & FRIENDLY STAFF When I arrived in the hotel, it was too early for the check in. I requested if I can early check in, and I was so happy that they let me. I was able to leave my stuff. They were all smiling and accommodating. They helped me check in the room, waited for my grab and gave me instructions on how to get to where I want to go. They even let me leave my stuff after I checked out. There is always a staff in the reception area assisting the staff. And they responded to my query and chat in their FB page. I just wish I got their names but unfortunately, I was not able to. But I can commend all of them. COMFORTABLE STAY The room is not so small and not so big. Given that I am alone, this is enough. Even if I have companion, the room is good enough. There is a shelf where can I put my stuff. There is a table, a phone, toiletries. The bed is so comfortable. I had a good sleep. I had a good rest in the afternoon. They gave me free water when I asked. And the blower did a pretty good job during my stay. Hehe. I love also there 7th floor. Where guests can stay, relax and eat. Though I was there just for a few minutes but I love how quiet and relaxing the place. I could definitely recommend this place to my friends and family going to KL. The staff were polite, helpful and attentive. The room was a tad small but not an issue at all for me. The hotel is modern and pleasantly decorated. The location is great for Petaling Street and Central Market, it's a short cab ride to other sights in the city. There's a cute cafe in the lobby that does good coffee and meals. I would recommended, especially for the value for money.

This is a really good hotel, especially for the price. The location is phenomenal, as close as you can get to the action of China Town and Petaling St Markets without being a grotty little hostel, also no more than 5 (OK, 10 if you walk slow, wait for traffic and take alot of photos) minutes walk to Central Market and Little India. It is also close to the monorail. The rooms are surprisingly large with decent facilities and it is all very comfortable and clean with a huge TV and decent bathroom size. The staff are absolutely top notch when it comes to local knowledge and lending a hand and advice. The only real beef is that lack of additional hotel (as opposed to room) facilities and the cost of booking things outside of the hotel, through the hotel, e.g. taxis (80RMY to Airport.. train is about half that and a taxi you hail yourself outside their door won't ask for more than 70RMY), some of the tours (though in this case it isn't so easy to organise yourself without prior communication with a driver), etc. All in all though I will recommend it to anyone who is tired of lugging a backpack and keeping a wary eye on their fellow travelers!

The hotel is located within 10 mins walk away from Masjid Jamek station and with restaurants around, it's easy and convenient for us to take a meal. The hotel is also located near Central Market and attractions like National Textile Museum and Kuala Lumpur City Gallery. The room is clean, and the beds are really comfortable! Basic amenities such as toiletries, coffee and towels are available. It's really a cosy place to stay. As for the breakfast, the items are limited but it's good for the price paid and the food taste good too! The staff are really friendly and helpful, which makes the entire stay very pleasant. I would recommend this hotel!

Location of the hotel is a big yes for tourists because it's a 5-8min walk to petaling street where street food stalls are located that serves authentic cuisine. Also near central market where you can go shopping for pasalubong same as petaling street as well, it's like divisoria of the Phil. Service of the hotel is good as well as their breakfast buffet for only 20rm since we fail to book it together wth our hotel reservation.. i'd definitely recommend this to friends who are travelling..

This hotel is right in the centre of the hustle and bustle of Central Market. Its a busy area so if you need a resort style location it probably won't be what you require. If, however, you love the buzz of a central location, the sounds of the day to day world going on and the feel and sights, the sounds and smells of an older style KL this place may just be a destination for you. Plenty of heritage buildings just over the road. If you like a comfortable room as a base while you go exploring and a great price this is an ideal place. Great shower and bathroom facilities. Plenty of room. The bedroom is compact but more than adequate for all your needs. GREAT big screen TV. The WIFI works well. SO CLOSE to Central Market (try the food court and Old Town White Coffee). Try some of the best restaurants in KL PRECIOUS OLD CHINA & THE BETEL LEAF - all walking distance. TRY PETALING STREET 5 minutes walk away. Walk to Masjid Jamek Station and catch LRT straight to KLCC in under 5 minutes. Great views from the pool.

I think it's quite a new hotel, run by Tamil staff. Staff friendly and helpful. Ideally situated close to LRT Pasar Seni, Central Market, Kasturi Walk, Jalan Petaling, etc. Not much character, but excellent value, clean, quiet and everything one needs. Great views over the city from window - National Mosque, etc. We booked 3 hotels in Malaysia on this trip, and Lavana was the best (the friendliest and and also the cheapest by a long way). One problem with all hotels was the snail-like Wifi, ironic as there are signs everywhere reading that Malaysia is getting up to speed, 500 Mbps - well, they have a long way to go, and that's compared to Lombok, where I live.

i was stay this hotel for 5 people in the family room, the room very big and beds can support for 6 people it proper for family trip. clean room, big window and best service. don't have the restaurant in the hotel but chainatown is the bigest of food market. hotel located on the center of chainatown.very good location but the wifi service is poor. my room can not use wifi because very less signal in the room. i must to bring my notebook to connect wifi at the lobby.

I booked this hotel at dormitory room and stayed with my two other friends but actually this room can provide up to 4 person. The room is nice, clean, tidy, there's a TV, the toilets and shower are separated. The receptionist is very nice and kind so we can communicate easily. There's an extra deposite 50 RM and promo for an extra breakfast 10 RM per day for three of us. Overall the place is only 2-3 minutes to Masjid Jamek LRT Station so we can travel everywhere easily. Its only 5-10 minutes walk to central market and petailing street. This is a very good place to stay. We are staying for 3 nights. Thank you Max Star Hotel👍👍

The location is superb. Just infront petaling street where you can buy your pasalubongs, streetfoods and restaurants are just around the corner also, very near to Pasar seni train station, theres a 7/11 nearby. If you love walking then central market and masjid jamek is just really near. Just a station away from KL sentral also. The room was really clean and cozy, the staff is definitely the best, very kind and accomodating, they provided as everything we needed as much as they could. Very helpful. Amigo hotel made sure our stay in KL was perfect.

Pros: 1 min walk to Central Market. Hotel is in between 3-5 min walk to Masjid Jamek or Pasar Seni train station. Easy to find/book Grab. Strong room and lobby wifi internet. Staffs are friendly and can speak English. Very good air-condition. Cons: Room TV has 4 channels only. Reactive free bottle water replenish everyday (upon request in the lobby). Satisfied overall experience (stayed 10 days)

the overall condition of the hotel is ok. nice view through your window. nice food too (esp the nasi lemak for breakfast), and the chef was friendly. it is near to many interesting places such as central market, berjaya times square, klcc and midvalley megamall. it is also near to maharajalela monorail station, whereby easy for you to move around kl with this public transport. hope to stay there again at midah hotel once we are in kl.

we got more than what we paid for. the room was bigger than what we expected and was always kept clean. we had a steady supply of snacks. (the biscuits were nice.)indian and western fastfood and restaurants are within the vicinity. the hotel's close proximity to some tourist spots (like the merdeka square, little india, china town and central market) and its accessibility to public transportation like the mrt and monorail were a big plus. at best, the hotel staff were warm, friendly and helpful. we will definitely stay there again when we are in kl.

We had a great time when we stayed in Nan Yeang Hotel. We took family room for 5 person. There was a lift, water dispenser (cold and hot water), clean room, and even a balcony. The location is also perfect. You can find food stalls, souvenir shops and that famous Chinatown night market just outside of the hotel. Nan Yeang hotel is also near Puduraya bus station and central market.

Read the reveiw and decided to book this hotel. Clean and nice room, we book a double bed with free wifi. Small room. Check in at 5.00pm at the counter and get into room in 10 mins. Right outside the hotel is a bus stop and you can see Central market on the left, just 7 min walking across the road. We ate at the food court inside central market. From hotel 10 - 15 mins walk to reach China town night market. MTR Train station behind hotel - just 1 stop to arrive at Bintang shopping. I booked for 1 night stay and did my shopping by walking around. Excellent location. Check out next day at 1.00pm and proceed to genting. Breakfast is simple. Toast coffee tea pumpkin soup noodle ......

I booked Tian Jing Hotel because of the location and it looked like the newest hotel. The location is excellent f your intention is to spend time in Petaling Street, Central Market and the floral st. The room are basic but comfortable. A few things to take note: there are no chairs, no lift (its only two floors and tissue box. Mosquito might be an issue (They provide net + repellent), the security lock in my room seemed a bit flimsy- I could pull the entire thing off). I paid for breakfast RM$15. The coffee was weak, the prata was nice, the toast was okay and the glutinous rice tasted a bit strange (I didn't finish it). Overall if I were to go back to Petaling Street, I would stay in this hotel and would recommend to my friends as well, but just to take note of the above. The staff are v. pleasant and I am sure if I had highlighted all the above, they would have done remedial work. They also helped me to carry my luggages up and down without any complaints at all, kudos to them!

Sandpiper Hotel is conveniently situated at the center of most key locations at Kuala Lumpur. One can walk to Petaling Street (Chinatown), Central Market, Merdaka Square and even Bukit Bintang district. It is located in front of Pudu Central Bus Station and there is also a train station within walking distance that can connect you to KL Sentral. They offer fast wifi internet access, too. 😊It's also a value for money since we got 50% off discount from Agoda upon booking.

The location is pretty much perfect. In the middle of the city, to the left of the front door is the Metro station to take you anywhere in the city that you want to go and to the right is Petaling Street. There are restaurants nearby and the Central Market. A+ for location. The single rooms are pretty small and no windows but they're cheap and clean and big enough for one. My biggest problem was that all the single beds are located on the ground floor which means you can hear EVERYTHING going on in the lobby and at the front desk at all hours of the day and night. I asked to be moved and because all the single beds are on that floor, I'd have to upgrade to a double bed to switch to a different floor. So if you're not a light sleeper and want a cheap and comfy private room. This is the hotel for you.

Pros: Location ++ Right next to Pasar Seni MRT and Chinatown. Central Market is walking distance as well as Kotaraya and Mydin (best prices for coffee/chocolates). Room is clean and they provide towels, tissue rolls and soap via the dispenser in your bathroom. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Helped us with our taxi booking and called up the driver to make sure he can find us. Free hot and cold drinking water using the drinking fountains in the hallway. Mattresses are firm. Towels are soft. Curtains are very good at blocking out the light. Great price. It's a steal honestly. Cons: Small(ish) bathroom, water can leak out when using the showerhead full on, so be mindful of the direction. No minifridge and toiletries except for the soap and tissue roll. Rooms aren't soundproofed at all, and it's a busy hotel on a busy street. It gets quiet at night though (and it's not bad early mornings as well), so it's not like it's gonna keep you from sleeping.
