Ever since i move to KL back in 2004 i believe this hotel has been there since then. Before Pavilion was even beside them, the existence of the hotel is there. My dad used to stay here for a business trip and i normally stayed with him whenever i had a chance. Especially with the buffet spread. Since then didnt get a chance to stay here after my dad retired. Then recently due to a recent wedding events of my friend nearby. I book a night here. I expect it to be an antique or a slightly old fashioned design. But surprisingly the hotel is as beautiful as it remembered. The chandelier was as grand, and we were amazed with it. The center elevator is also iconic as most of the newest elevator dont have that anymore and this could only be found in the old hotel design. Sadly my wife left a silicon wedding ring in the room and we didnt manage to get it back. The ring is small and tiny, so i assume the roomkeeper didnt notice it at all. Not expensive item, but its still a wedding ring that we ordered all the way from USA. Didnt tried the pool but managed to do burn some calories in the gym. Gym is pretty well equipped as well. The parking system for guest is quite unique as well. The room card for your room can be used for accessing in and out from the parking lot. The room is quite comfortable with nice scent of the shower gel and shampoo. Amenities got standard as well. Few downside but not a deal breaker. 1. Television signal was not good, if you plan to sit in and watch tv, then not a good choice. You beside a mall, why sit when you can just go out anyway. 2. The sofa at the lobby was a tad hard. Too many guests sitting on it, expected wont be soft. For the tv issue probably dont effect every room. The room that we stayed is 1119 with the tv issue.

Location is good, just right next to pavilion and walking distance to the bkt bintang mrt station, which is really convenient if you want to get around kl. We stayed for 2 nights. Hotel is a tad old, but clean and well maintained. Had a bit of problem adjusting the hot/cold water for the shower. Housekeeping was abit slow and the room didn't get tidied up even when we were out until 3pm. Checking in and out was a breeze as staffs were very helpful. Overall experience was ok.

My family had an excellent stay at this hotel. The location was superb! It's located directly beside Pavillion mall and opposite Fahrenheit mall. Food is literally everywhere! The cleanliness if the hotel was top-notch, ensuring a comfortable abd safe environment for our children. Staffs were friendly from the get go. Parking was convenient too. However wifi was lagging and unreliable. The pool wasn't too fancy too, kids don't really enjoy it. Overall we highly recommend this hotel for families seeking a value for money stay with great facilities and a prime location.

Overall nice stay with some hiccups”
Excellent location. Signs of age showing and the hotel needs an update. Breakfast was great with good variety and first hotel I've been to with freshly pressed apple/celery/carrot juice. Restaurant staff were amazing. One of the chefs specially made a serving of mac and cheese for my son when the dish ran out for the breakfast buffet! So sorry we didnt manage to get his name. Rooms were very spacious and clean. There needs to be better communication or process between the front desk and restaurant. The restaurant staff told me that I need to sign on the bill for the full price for breakfast and obtain the discount for in-house guests from the front desk because the restaurant staff apparently had no authority to apply the discount. I went down to the front desk on the first day and confirmed that there would be a 20% discount. On the last day of my stay when I settled my bill, the bill was again the full-priced amount. I informed the front desk staff and the staff had to call the restaurant to check and finally conferred the discount. This is the first time I have ever encountered such an issue - why the need to discuss over who has the authority to give the in-house guest the 20% f&b discount? Toilet flush wasn't working properly in one of the rooms despite getting fixed. Hairdryer stopped working halfway while using it. Television in one of the rooms wasn't working for 2 days. Just a 'sorry' seems a tad lacking in terms of service recovery in view of all these hiccups.

The staffs at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. Thanks for the upgrade of my room. The room was immaculate and very comfortable. We enjoyed the all day snacks & refreshments at the Club Lounge. Loved the convenient location close to major shopping malls. Will come back for sure.
