Located right at the end of the Mactan Peninsula, it has the amazing view of the sea especially at sunset. For plane enthusiasts, this is an amazing resort to do some plane spotting as well. The service provided by the staff are simply impeccable and extremely attentive. Most amazingly, due to my day tour to Oslob & Badian where the driver will pick us up at 2.00am, and after informing them that we will be missing out the breakfast anyways, the staff initiated to provide us with a specially made breakfast package of sandwiches......which to our surprise were 2 full sets of large egg and salmon sandwiches with some pastries and water to go with. Fully complimentary! Although we could tell that this resort has been around for some time now, the rooms and facilities are still in very good condition and clean! Hence, to be honest, the biggest regret I have is not staying in fully during my entire 2 nights stay here to fully immerse myself into the resort and activities such as the seaside seafood market/buffet, the foam pool party, etc. All in all, I had the most amazing time during my short stay here and would definitely recommend this resort! Fully corresponds to the description. No complaints, it was clean, tasty, fun and comfortable. but ... Christmas Eve dinner for the second time, the tables were not ready at the appointed time. It took 25 minutes to order drinks, but in the end not everything that was ordered was brought. The serving line looked empty, disjointed. Our stay at the Dusit Thani was very relaxing and memorable due to the very nice and cozy ambiance of the hotel, the great architecture and interior designs, warm and friendly staff and the breathtaking view of the ocean. My only comment was that upon checking in at our room I immediately smelled urine in the bathroom, perhaps it was hurriedly cleaned after the former guest left. Other than that our while stay was wonderful.
