"Frequent traveller to Seoul. Staff was very friend and accommodating, as they've just opened about a year ago. One criticism is when I asked about nearby laundry/dry cleaners, as the rates at hotel are expensive and I can speak Korean. They said none were nearby, however there was one about 30m away, around the corner... come on. However, they allowed me to check-in VERY early ahead of the normal check-in time, and service was otherwise top end in my extensive experience staying at hotels in Korea. Room was very small, and odd that if you slide closed the bedroom separating door (never did) there was a window from the bedroom directly into the shower. However, the room/bathroom were all very modern and well kept. No complaints other than size, and as many other business hotels in Seoul there was free WiFi. Not much of a lobby meeting area which meant there was quite often large groups of people hanging around and a bit crowded. Transportation ok - Seodaemun Stn just out front but a bit of a walk my Seoul standards until you hit the train platform. Not bad but not great for grabbing taxis as you need to grab from the corner of the big intersection. Coffee shops nearby, convenience stores nearby, food selection close by is ok, and typical of north of the river areas."

"This hotel is located in an upscale business district in Seoul and is designed to cater to international travelers. This is not the place to stay if you’re interested in a Korean-feeling experience, look, but is the place to stay if you want convenience and centrality. Subway stops are really close by. The front desk staff is very professional and speak pretty good English. There’s a large comfortable lobby and a 7-Eleven next door, well-stocked with alcohol. The rooms are quite lovely—like other hotels I stayed in in Seoul, the entire room is automated and starts working once you insert your room key in the wall socket. This one was even more automated than others, with light sensors tracking what part of the room you were in. I had an incredible view of a valley of shorter buildings surrounded by skyscrapers. The bed was firm, like all the beds I experienced in Seoul, although this one was maybe a touch softer, which was nice. There was a TV. There were the standard slippers and robe"

"It is my 6th time to be in South Korea but my first time to stay at Hotel Peyto Gingham. The experience is awesome, 10/10 I would say for the price given. I checked in the hotel at 12:30AM at midnight and the location of the hotel was easy to find even when it was all dark outside. The hotel staff was being very helpful and kind as they reminded me that the Zen Double room I booked do not provide real high beds. So they offered to let me have a look at both the Zen Double and Deluxe Double rooms first before choosing which one to stay at since my stay was for 7 nights. Both rooms are fine and look comfortable but I eventually chose the one closer to the elevator. The hotel is located at the main street: Gangnam-daero and is just 3 minutes away from Yangjae Station (Line 3, exit 2). Although it is in Gangnam, with line 3 it only takes one to get to the touristic or shopping areas in Gangbuk within 35 minutes (i.e. Eujilro station; Myeongdong; Jongno... etc). Everything inside the room was great and the room looked really like a compact yet comfortable studio flat, at the centre of Gangnam (Seocho-gu). I stayed in various hotels in Seoul before (Lotte Hotel in Euljiro; Skypark Central in Myeongdong; Classic 500 in Konkuk Uni and etc), but I'd rank Hotel Peyto Gangnam as my first priority given its excellent location, clean and modern room, helpful front desk staff members and the not-too touristic feel that area gives. "If you are in Seoul for COEX, Hotel Peyto Samseong would be the best place to be. Easy arrival/departure by taking the airport shuttle and stopping at CALT. You can even do advance check in if you are taking authorized Airlines partners. Food is of no problem.. Breakfast spread offered by the hotel is acceptable. Only slightly negative.. pillows are too soft."

"I have been to Seoul more than 30 times and usually book this place because of its location. It is right in front of Itaewon station, very convenient in city center, good access from airport and easy to move around. The room is clean and has free and fast Wifi. They used to have Korean Sauna at B1F but now the size is smaller, I still enjoy it though. Their staff is there 24/7 and helpful, they speak English and Japanese too. Money exchange is also available at the reception. One comment I should make is the noise from the neighbors, since Itaewon is a "night town" in Seoul, there are many people at clubs, pubs, etc. around this hotel and it could be loud (even in the hotel room) especially Friday and Saturday night. Single travelers or young couple should be fine but it might be not suitable for the family with young children. Also in summer they have small swimming pool at 5F and many, many people from outside of the hotel visit, so the elevator could be crowded sometimes."
