It's my first time to visit Cebu and I love it!! And staying at Cebu White Sand Resort and Spa was amazing. The resort it self offers a relaxing vibe. Upon checking in we greeted with welcoming smiles from the staff and offered us a refreshing drink . The staff are vey friendly and very accommodating like Maribel, Eloy and John Jay to name a few. We stay in adjoining deluxe room so it feels like we stay in one big room . The room is so clean and smells good. The view is superb , we are facing the pool and next to the Koi pond. It's amazing indeed feels like we are in Bali. The breakfast buffet is so good , And the white sand Halo- halo is the best halo- halo I ever tasted. I highly recommend Cebu White Sands Resort .
Staff was accommodating, the buffet breakfast was delicious. Though am older resort they keep it clean and manicured. Be noted that if you book with older children on Agoda the hotels policy as I was told was up to 11 and then it's charged as adult. I was asked to first pay 2000php when I checked it but after a discussion they reduced it to 800php. That was the only issue but they handled it well. The pools are sparkling and clean and the landscaping beautiful.
Stayed for 3 nights. We had a grand luxe room. No lifts (that I'm aware of) but staff helped to bring up the bags. The room was large and clean. Bathroom was also large. Decent water pressure although the hot water was very temperamental and wasn't warming up properly after the 2nd night . Bidet had good water pressure too. The facilities/gardens were very pretty and staff were overall nice. They have a roof bar which we didn't visit however we ate from the restaurant twice and tbh I found it quite overpriced for food that I didn't think that highly of unfortunately . First night my chicken pasta came out lukewarm/borderline cold which was disappointing and the chicken was dry. My husband had steak which he said was good however. Cocktails were nice however and food was presented well. We had room service on the 3rd night - pizza which looked very undercooked?! Think it was the cheese they used as I asked for it to be cooked more and came back the same way lol Breakfast wasn't bad - just could do with more options for those that are vegetarian or those that don't eat pork (one day there was chicken sausages but the other day was pork) Locationwise they're good as they are next to a main road (once you walked up) which has a few shops and restaurants nearby. Overall the experience was pleasant.
This is my honest review of this hotel, this is my first time and what I attracted me the most is the ambiance, looks relaxing in the photo and my elderly mom would love it so I decided to give it a try and so far it did not disappoint me, my mom likes it cuz she loves plants, so we availed the family room in ground floor its so spacious with a veranda and comes with a sofa is a plus, its good if you have kids or elderly mom, and of course not a perfect hotel and I have some few suggestions specially if your paying almost 9k/a day that they should check the fascilities in the room like the plumbing , slow drain, add some outlet since there is no AC outlet where the electric kettle is located, you have to put it below near the chiller and no outlets in the headboard, Outlets located way too low in the floor so prepare long charging cables, bathroom area is large but its a wasted space, its a family room they should put a cabinet/closet where you can hang your towel and put some of your stuff, beddings is mediocre you only have a comforter no second sheet, for the price of the room you paid I should get one sheet, my suki pension house for P1200/day they even have 2 sheets 1 flannel like fabric and one thin sheet, another suggestion, management should improve your responses thru email and chat from any platforms cuz it took a while I got a response, I know the storm affected your hotel communication but I assume your internet is working ,and I dont see any hotel name sign in the road or a visible entrance sinage so if its your first time driving here prepare to miss the hotel entrance, even our driver a previous taxi driver missed it, Not sure if its already required that hotel’s must have ramps for easy access for PWD or elderly persons and it seems I dont see that here specially in the reception area maybe I missed it, and specially the food is not that great, only limited selection mostly grilled, for the price of the food I expect tastier or delicious food i

Rounding up my trip in Cebu White Sand Resort and Spa was definitely memorable and sweet. I could not be more thankful for how welcoming and helpful staff were. Staff who responsible for room cleaning indeed cleaned my room neat and tidy. You could tell just by the smoothing cleaning agent scent in addition with the daily mop. Whole room was very comfortable and cozy. Restaurant served variety of food while their breakfast for sure a big thumb up. Many options with both authentic and western ones. Sitting beside the pool was definitely the best way to start your day and for a break. Pool was pretty big and clean. Staff were hardworking and kept cleaning the pool as leaves kept blowing down. You could easily spend more than hours there just for a break physically and psychologically. The biggest compliment I needed to share was the staff was very helpful and sweet offering not only arranging taxi picking up to airport at 3am in the morning, they even helped preparing a take away breakfast and a bottle of water for my early flight. They were so sweet and never had I ever encountered a hotel would offer so many. Another highlight was the hotel spa. Seriously, you MUST try their spa! Entering their spa literally brought you to another spiritual side of the hotel. Options of spa/ massage type offered. Staff were polite and soft. Whole experience definitely worth it and adding another positive memory about this hotel. Roof top bar serves happy hour every day between 5pm to 7pm. The scenery was spot on. It covered both the whole Mactan area and the coastal. Absolutely lovely. I for sure will highly recommend this hotel and will come back!! A place you feel safe and able to relax completely.
