Cebu City hotels & places to stay

This was the third hotel I stayed at during my visit to Cebu City and by far my favorite. (The other two being Sarrosa Hotel and the Mandarin Hotel, both pale in contrast to Crown Regency). I liked the polite and attentive staff, the western build quality of the property, the location, the immense nearby shopping, food, and nightlife. The rooms are extremely nice. The hotel has a number of attractions, some of which could be of mild interest, though we didn't do much. The chinese restaurant on the upper floor had an exceptionally good all you can eat buffet with superb food that really surprised me for quality and selection that included scallops and many other seafoods. I'd highly recommend this hotel if you're not sure where to stay in Cebu City, I'd certainly come back here again and not think twice about those other two hotels.

Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino is by far one of the best hotels in Cebu, and perhaps even in the Philippines. The rooms are quite spacious and classy. It is fully carpeted and the bed is huge and very comfortable. But the best asset of the hotel is the entertainment readily available to the hotel guests. To top it all, the hotel houses one of the best casinos in the country. The hotel also has a duty free shop where guests can buy items for less than in ordinary stores. Another good asset of the hotel is the buffet breakfast they offer where a guest could choose from among a wide variety of food and beverages. All in all, I highly recommend staying at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino.

We stayed in this hotel overnight in Cebu City before going to the Shangri La. We used the Quest as a base to visit the (few) historical attractions, the fort, Jesuit house, Yap Sandiago house and Casa Gororda. The historical sights are just a short taxi ride away from the hotel, and definitely worth doing to get an insight in to the local culture before stepping it to the bubble of a beach resort. The hotel has only been open for one year so it has not yet had the wear and tear. It's a modern, very clean and comfortable business style hotel. The staff were efficient and friendly, the wifi in the room was fast and easy to connect to. The room was very clean, and a decent size, with all modern amenities which made for a comfortable stay. The breakfast buffet spread was good, international and catered for the locals, and surprisingly good western food too. Given the low cost of this hotel, I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality, service and amenities in this hotel. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a place to stay in Cebu city.

I have stayed at this hotel many times before when in Cebu City. I always feel comfortable and the staff are always efficient. Both times I stayed this trip i was given an upgrade room. That starts you off happily. The facilities are excellent. Lovely pool, great fitness room. It is so close to Ayala centre. It really is still one of the best hotels in cebu city at that price for me.

We have stayed at the Hotel Elizabeth numerous times over the past few years. The rooms are clean, spacious and loaded with needed amenities. I feel this is one of the best managed hotels in the area. They are extremely courteous and helpful to everyone. Their security is top notch. The new Chef (as of 1/2017) was an excellent choice as the food is well prepared and the addition of an omelet station is a plus for a hotel of this quality. I was very surprised to find the employees remembered us when we returned 6 months later and then again a year after that. That alone tells me the employees not only enjoy working there but also enjoy getting to know the clientele. This is our fav "go to" hotel in Cebu City.

among the four and five star hotels in cebu city, this one may be best, if the others offer comparable rates(rates alter), this one is your best choice. the staff is very hospital as you would expect in the philippines. the rooms are spacious and clean. as located in cebu city, it is far from the beaches but also much cheaper than comparable hotels located at beaches. you can however purchase day pass tickets at some of the beaches, e.g. maribago blue water resort for pesos including a good lunch. directly next to sm mall cebu, so convenient for shopping and eating, but the ayala mall is the better mall in cebu.

My stay in The Henry Hotel in Cebu, City was amazing! I knew I'd enjoy it since I saw the room behind my computer screen and when I saw the hotel in reality.. I confirmed myself that I'd have an amazing time! I LOVED every moment I spent in this hotel and I'll definitely be choosing this hotel when I go back and visit! I absolutely loved the syle, atmosphere, vibe and just everything. The hotel's location is perfect for night life, restaurant and peace.. also offers many fun garments and the rooms are stunning! Very spacious and just so comforting like no other hotels. It was my pleasure to stay in there, it was awesome!

This hotel is good! From its services to its staff, I was generally satisfied. I can somehow identify some downsides, one is reaching its location from the airport, especially if you arrive at a later time of the day. The traffic is just so overwhelming that it will make your butt heat off while waiting inside the taxi. So I advice fellow travellers to arrive in Cebu before 9am to avoid traffic because there is traffic everywhere (Well, yeah, the entire Philippines, I guess.)! Secondly, the pool is open at a limited time. It is open from 6am to 9pm only. I guess they implemented this rule because there are rooms beside the pool. I only identified it as a downside because we were travelling with children who wants to swim all the time. But I guess this wouldn't matter if you are not the type who stays at the water all the time. Finally, the wi-fi services. We stayed at 2 premiere rooms and got 24 hour complimentary wi-fi use per person, per gadget. We are the kind of persons who shares everything in our social media that's why we use internet all the time. Once you have consumed this all up, you will be charged 100 pesos for every 24 hour use. But then again, if you are the type of traveller who doesn't rely much on the world wide web, this wouldn't matter. Overall, I have enjoyed my 3 day stay here with my family. It is very much close to everything as it is in the very heart of Cebu City. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends who wishes to visit Cebu. But if you are looking for a place very near the beach, this is not it.

The Main is an excellent hotel and I'd recommend this hotel 'in the blink of an eye' to anyone planning on staying in Cebu City. The room was clean, smelt awesome, was big and well designed. Staff were most obliging. The hotel was within walking distance of a great mall with excellent food outlets. Taxis take you to the Ayala Centre in about 10mins and the hotel is about 30mins from Mactan International Airport. The Wifi connection was first rate (between 10Mbps and 18Mbps; very fast and reliable connection). I will stay here again when visiting Cebu City. Well done and congratulations to all concerned.

It's was our first time in Cebu City. My friend & I wanted a hotel that's very close to the mall, restaurants, and easy access to public transport. Tune hotel is right choice. It's near the Ayala Center & the Public Transport Terminal. The hotel was clean, well maintained, & friendly staff. The toiletries & towels were placed on a string bag. What I like also of this hotel is they have this "Pay only for what you need". I think this idea is perfect for budget conscious & practical travelers like me. Last Thursday, when we get back to the hotel from our City Tour. I got this letter from the hotel reporting that the insafe was open as reported by their housekeeping. That impressed me & my friend as well. Check-in & Check-out was very prompt. They don't serve breakfast. But no worries there's a 7-11 at the hotel entrance & ayala center is just accross the street. I would definitely recommend Tune Hotel to my friends.

My hotel experience was generally great. The room was spacious and clean. The personnel were professional and very accommodating. The hotel location is perfect if you're visiting Cebu City for vacation. The hotel is a spitting distance to malls, convenience stores, restaurants, bars, fastfood chains, massage spas and almost everything. My room was so conducive for sleeping and I could hardly hear the noise outside. I enjoyed my early morning jog at the Fuente Circle just accross the hotel and the very satisfying buffet breakfast of the hotel. LOL. The hotel rate I got thru Agoda was too cheap compared to the satisfaction I had. Well, despite the old facilities, still, I would prefer this hotel over the other 2 hotels I stayed at during my 4-day vacatiom here. I should had booked in Rajah Park during my entire stay. Nextime, this year for sure.

Our stay in Marco Polo is quite memorable and nice experience... before we usually stayed in Shangrila Mactan and Hilton... meaning whenever we are at Cebu, we always in the part of Lapu-lapu city.. its our first time in city itself.. we always wondering whats the building on the top of the mountain overlooking cebu city. we found out that its Marco Polo Hotel now but before it was Cebu Plaza Hotel.. one of the most famous and expensive hotel in the Queen City of the South. Now that its Marco Polo... it gives more elegance and charm. The Hotel location is nice.. few minutes drive away to the city, malls, tourist attractions etc... its facilities like pools and gym and spa and restaurants are truly wondrous and relaxing with. the rooms are spacious and quite peaceful. no noise will wake you and you wanted to sleep all day long. The elevators are fast and roomy. The parking is so big. Gardens are quite allusive. The staffs are very courteous and helpful... fast in their actions and firm in their words. I must say we will comeback there again the next time we visit cebu city.

it was one of the best hotel ive ever stayed. First of all, all the staffs were so kind and helpful. they smiled all the time and tried to do the best for customers. Even tho it was peak season, there were only 5-10 ppl in the pool. So,me and my family could have quiet and relaxed time. pool was maintained very well, floor and sun beds were so clean. and one thing I really liked was there was a shower room besides the pool so, we could use swimming pool before checking in (as we were arrived in cebu very early morning) room was big enough for two persons(standard room) and very clean. all the foods including breakfast were delicious and well priced. (probably better than foods outside) location was okay, takes only 5-10 mins to city centre by taxi. it may be the best value hotel in cebu city.

our favorite hotel in cebu city, we will definitely come again. rooms fronting main road are noisy all night, so we were moved to a room at back of building, and found it quiet and very comfortable. staff are nice, speak good english, are very well trained in hotel service, and make a point to remember your name. in all a professionally run budget hotel, no frills but very pleasant to stay to explore cebu city.

My family and I went to Cebu City for three days, we stayed at Wellcome Hotel as recommended by one of my colleagues. Our stay in the hotel, I must say very comfortable and very convenient, the staff are very friendly and generously attending our needs, esp. when we arrived early than hotel booking, the Front Desk Lady was very accommodating and super nice, she explained the procedure re Agoda booking and ammendments. I must say Agoda has done really great job as well. The room was quite clean and impressive my little girl wanted to stay more inside the room instead of coming with us for the Cebu City tour haha, that was classic!! Kudos to the satff, hotel management and Agoda immediate respond with my request. Looking forward to our next visit to the city.

After staying in about 20 Cebu City hotels, we can say with authority, that this is one of the very best hotels in Cebu. It has very good staff to serve you in the restaurant and at breakfast, and such comfortable, spacious, clean beds. The only surprise was, that along with the Mandarin Plaza Hotel, of 20 Cebu City hotels, the room bar-fridge was not stocked with any drinks or nibbles at all...

I love Uncle Tom's Cabin hotel! I initially booked for 1 night when I arrived in Cebu City and I just wanted a place to rest before going to Bantayan the following morning at 8AM. But before checking out, I decided to book in this same hotel before I fly back to Manila from my 3d2n Bantayan trip. Everything is great here! :) Check-in was fast, the room was great - I booked the single room which is very ideal for a solo traveller like me and I got everything I needed and it was very clean on boths rooms that I stayed, breakfast was included in the room rate, wifi was reliable, staff were friendly, and location is good (although I always booked Uber/Grab since I didn't want to commute), clean towels and toiletries. One recommendation for improvement though if I may suggest... please follow up if it is beyond check out time already :) The receptionist called me at 11:45 to check if I am going to extend my stay, and the housekeeping also knocked my door at 11:48, even if check out time is 12noon. I told them that the I was just checking all my things in the room before I leave and it wasn't 12noon yet. Overall, I am highly satisfied with my stay! I will definitely stay here whenever I am in Cebu. :)

We stay here at least one time during our travels around Cebu Island; it is our base in Cebu City. The Mountain View Luxe room is quiet, clean and comfortable, but be aware that the rooms are not large in this hotel, however they are spacious enough for short stays. Plenty of very good places to eat in the hotel vicinity. Staff are warm and welcoming. Buffet breakfast when available is better than the set menu option.

To start with, the entire staff at S Hotel treats you in the manner of a 5 star Hotel. They are very agreeable, attentive and kind. This includes everyone from the front desk, to the security personnel, to Housekeeping. One of the housekeeping staff named Helbert made a beautiful heart from towels on me and my fiance's bed; he decorated it with our pictures and made us feel very special. This is just another example of the kind and personal treatment you receive at this fine Hotel.The bed is king size and very comfortable. The aircon is ice cold. The linens are white and clean, the comforter is cozy. The room smells and feels like new. The bathroom is immaculate. The neighborhood is nice and there are two great barbecue restaurants, several bakery's and a 7-11 nearby. In short the stay couldn't be any better and I was made to feel like a welcome guest. I have stayed here at S Hotel many times and I always feel like I am staying at my second home. I have also stayed at luxury hotels both here in Cebu City and abroad, and although this isn't a luxury hotel, I have never received better treatment and had a more comfortable stay than I have at S hotel.
