"We stayed in this hotel overnight in Cebu City before going to the Shangri La. We used the Quest as a base to visit the (few) historical attractions, the fort, Jesuit house, Yap Sandiago house and Casa Gororda. The historical sights are just a short taxi ride away from the hotel, and definitely worth doing to get an insight in to the local culture before stepping it to the bubble of a beach resort. The hotel has only been open for one year so it has not yet had the wear and tear. It's a modern, very clean and comfortable business style hotel. The staff were efficient and friendly, the wifi in the room was fast and easy to connect to. The room was very clean, and a decent size, with all modern amenities which made for a comfortable stay. The breakfast buffet spread was good, international and catered for the locals, and surprisingly good western food too. Given the low cost of this hotel, I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality, service and amenities in this hotel. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a place to stay in Cebu city. "

"I have stayed at this hotel many times before when in Cebu City. I always feel comfortable and the staff are always efficient. Both times I stayed this trip i was given an upgrade room. That starts you off happily. The facilities are excellent. Lovely pool, great fitness room. It is so close to Ayala centre. It really is still one of the best hotels in cebu city at that price for me."

"Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino is by far one of the best hotels in Cebu, and perhaps even in the Philippines. The rooms are quite spacious and classy. It is fully carpeted and the bed is huge and very comfortable. But the best asset of the hotel is the entertainment readily available to the hotel guests. To top it all, the hotel houses one of the best casinos in the country. The hotel also has a duty free shop where guests can buy items for less than in ordinary stores. Another good asset of the hotel is the buffet breakfast they offer where a guest could choose from among a wide variety of food and beverages. All in all, I highly recommend staying at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino."

"Not all rooms in first-class hotels in Cebu have a bath tub. This one is one such. There are others. This reviewer has a habit of misbehaving in first-class hotels (although not for the bath tub) and he hereby apologises to all Cebu first-class hotels. The Agoda price for three persons was double the price for two persons. Agoda.com went on to find a cheaper price – for three persons - through one of its "partners". The Agoda document said – to the hotel – that it – the latter – would be paid, not by Agoda but, through a third party. Upon check-in, with three persons for four nights, we were told, we had only breakfast for two. We didn’t mind. Upon check-out, the breakfasts for the third person were reimbursed."

"Pros: - hotel is new and very clean - friendly staff - excellent breakfast buffet - well worth the money - prepay the buffet with agoda as the buffet will cost 400 pesos on site at the hotel - stayed on the 18th floor with a great view of the city - pool is on the roof top with an excellent view of the city - convenience store located on one level below the hotel where you can buy water, chips, etc. - hotel is located in Cebu city and in walking distance to many attractions: Cebu Monument, Cebu Cathedral, Fort San Pedro, Magellan’s Cross, Basicilica Del Santa Nino Church, etc. Cons: - located on a busy street - hallways are not air-conditioned as the hallway windows are open so coming out of your air-conditioned room to a hot hallway just gives you a heads up that it’s hot outside - you need to keep your room key in slot to keep the AC running while in the room; once you leave the room, you take the room key out of the slot and the AC turn off "

"I love Uncle Tom's Cabin hotel! I initially booked for 1 night when I arrived in Cebu City and I just wanted a place to rest before going to Bantayan the following morning at 8AM. But before checking out, I decided to book in this same hotel before I fly back to Manila from my 3d2n Bantayan trip. Everything is great here! :) Check-in was fast, the room was great - I booked the single room which is very ideal for a solo traveller like me and I got everything I needed and it was very clean on boths rooms that I stayed, breakfast was included in the room rate, wifi was reliable, staff were friendly, and location is good (although I always booked Uber/Grab since I didn't want to commute), clean towels and toiletries. One recommendation for improvement though if I may suggest... please follow up if it is beyond check out time already :) The receptionist called me at 11:45 to check if I am going to extend my stay, and the housekeeping also knocked my door at 11:48, even if check out time is 12noon. I told them that the I was just checking all my things in the room before I leave and it wasn't 12noon yet. Overall, I am highly satisfied with my stay! I will definitely stay here whenever I am in Cebu. :)"

"We have stayed at the Hotel Elizabeth numerous times over the past few years. The rooms are clean, spacious and loaded with needed amenities. I feel this is one of the best managed hotels in the area. They are extremely courteous and helpful to everyone. Their security is top notch. The new Chef (as of 1/2017) was an excellent choice as the food is well prepared and the addition of an omelet station is a plus for a hotel of this quality. I was very surprised to find the employees remembered us when we returned 6 months later and then again a year after that. That alone tells me the employees not only enjoy working there but also enjoy getting to know the clientele. This is our fav "go to" hotel in Cebu City. "

"Seda IT-Park is a clean hotel with a nice breakfast buffet (I just missed corned beef; bananas or Mangos); swimming pool at roof top: very clean, not crowded; nice view to Waterfront Hotel; around the hotel are many pubs, open until 11 p.,m - 2 mins walking distance. Positive: breakfast, pool, location, clensliness. Negative: Rooms are super small, the bathroom is less than 5 sqm., u nearly cant turn around; the aircon of the room is powerless, it needs many hour to cool it down; the building feels hot, around 32°C; the price for value is better at other Seda hotels, or also at Waterfront, Radison or Quest. I will book Seda again, but maybe not this one."
