The cleanliness is exceptionally good. The air conditioning works well, and for an amount under 20,000 won, you have a private bathroom with toilet paper, shampoo, and body wash. The bathroom is spacious. The room is also large, and the mattress is comfortable. There are large supermarkets, restaurants, McDonald's, and cafes within about a 5-minute walk. When we went, everything was closed except for the cafe. It seemed to close around 8:30 PM. It would be good to head out before that time, and if you're late, it might be nice to get takeout from somewhere before arriving. The shuttle was perfectly on time to the airport. Our flight was at 2 AM, and we left the accommodation at 11:45 PM. Since I had never traveled to Cebu before, I was a little confused about the departure location, but the driver asked where we were going and informed us, dropping us off at the correct departure terminal. The shuttle vehicle was spacious, clean, and pleasant. The accommodation is absolutely the best. If the location is decent, it would be good to stay for several nights. I didn't get a chance to visit it because it was late and I was tired, but it seemed like there was a swimming pool on the third floor? There is a water purifier near the front desk. In the room, there are water bottles, cups, and an electric kettle. I wanted to drink just one can of beer, so I looked around but couldn't find any, and ended up thinking the local supermarket next to the accommodation was selling things outside like a personal home. I passed by, but realizing I couldn't find any, I decided to buy one on the way back, even if it was warm. They took it out from the refrigerator for me, haha. If I had known, it would have made things easier for my heat-sensitive son, haha. Still, I got to experience it, and I bought a drink for my son and a chocolate cake from the cafe and we enjoyed it. I highly, highly recommend it.
This time the pool was perfectly clean. Everything in the room worked. I do wish it had more than a thin philippines sheet blanket for bedding, but in all fairness I could have probably asked the desk and they would have given me somethng better. There is a small shared kitchen with fridge and freezer that are nice to use. The location is not very walking friendly. It's on a busy side street with no sidewalks or shoulder. Not a problem for me, but it could be for some. This was my 2nd stay here, and probably won't be my last. It's a short walk from Giasano Mactan Mall, and the Lapu-Lapu governemt complex which includes LTO. It would be good for a pre or post flight destination also. All the Grab drivers know where it is.
I had an amazing stay at Beds & Friends! The place is clean, comfortable, and offers great value for money. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, always making sure guests feel welcome. I also loved how convenient the location is, especially being so close to the airport. My son really enjoyed swimming in the pool, which made our stay even more fun and relaxing. With its great vibe and good amenities, it’s definitely a place I would recommend and return to.
It is a 5-minute taxi or Grab ride from Mactan Airport and is located in a residential area, but has good security features. Although Mactan and Cebu City are far apart, this hotel is next to the bridge that connects Mactan to Cebu, making it close to the city as well. If you want to enjoy both Mactan and Cebu, this location is great. The prices are very inexpensive, and you can use double or triple rooms. Cleaning is only done upon request. There is a swimming pool, and I've been there once. The size is about that of a large bathtub, but since there are hardly any people, it’s nice to swim alone and relax on the bed nearby. One downside is that the roosters can be noisy from early morning, which has woken me up before. Those who are sensitive to noise should be cautious. The value for money is very good, and I think it’s much better than other hostels. I recommend it.

I really liked the aesthetic of the accommodation—very clean and straightforward. It has a minimalist charm that makes it feel cozy and functional. The location is great; it’s close to the airport, and there’s a mall just 5 to 10 minutes away, which is super convenient if you need to buy something. The property also offers nice amenities like a pool, work tables and chairs on the 3rd floor, a water dispenser, and complimentary coffee. There is also available food menu in case you get hungry. However, if you’re staying on the 3rd floor like we did, be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs since there’s no elevator. Also, the TV didn’t have cable, but there were some saved movies you can watch. The Wi-Fi on the 3rd floor was a bit slow and sometimes didn’t connect—though this might have just been during my stay. Overall, I’m very satisfied. For the price, it’s definitely worth it!
